CA Ventures is bringing forward proposals for a new mixed-use residential development on a brownfield site at 82-90 Washington Street.

Welcome

Thank you for visiting our consultation website.

In March 2023, a Proposal of Application Notice was submitted to Glasgow City Council, signalling the start of a statutory 12-week pre-application consultation period. This consultation period provides an opportunity for the public to leave feedback and written comments on the proposals, prior to the submission of a planning application.

Thank you to all those that have provided us with feedback on our proposals so far. Following the conclusion of our first round of consultation, we have conducted a detailed review of all comments received.

In our second round of consultation, we will explain how our design proposals respond to the valuable feedback received to date.

The updated proposals will be displayed at our second public exhibition on Wednesday 10th May between 3:00 – 7:00pm at Box Hub (50 Washington Street, G3 8AZ).

For those who are unable to attend the event, the updated proposals will also be available for review and feedback in our virtual exhibition room.

The site is situated at the River Clyde Waterfront, on the edge of Glasgow City Centre and directly east of the Kingston Bridge.

Formerly the location of the Snodgrass Flour Mill, the land is currently being used as a temporary car park, with the proposals representing an opportunity to transform a forgotten part of the riverside area by making it an attractive place for city centre living, while boosting the local and wider economy.
